Looking forward to your write-up. Most Thrilling Series Moment for me was Rendon's home run blast after the excruciating, infuriating interference call and subsequent kerfuffle. Luckiest Guy in the World: Tom Holbrook, bozo ump who made that interference call, and who, for the endless wait for an answer from the league office about whether that call could be overturned, had the "I guess the Governor's not going to call" doomed expression of a man who knows he's about to join the roll call of immortal baseball goats, along with Merkle, Snodgrass, and Buckner (to be fair, that last one should be replaced by John McNamara, who failed to make a defensive replacement for the famously gimpy Buckner). For the rest of his life, Holbrook should send a Christmas present to Rendon for rescuing him from ignominy.

You can probably tell that call got me riled up. Everyone on my block could tell, too. Other than that, it was a tremendous Series - and even that can now thankfully be filed away as a headshaking anecdote, rather than the catastrophe it almost was.
