Cathie from Canada

Sometime recently I heard that McNamara had finally said he was wrong about the Vietnam War. I thought, you asshole, how dare you think that if you just apologize then everybody has to move on.
The Burns documentary is pretty good, though I found it somewhat repetitive as the episodes went along. It was interesting to find out about what was going on in North Vietnam over the course of the war, which we had never heard anything about at the time.
I hope Mrs M continues to recover -- it sounds like she is making progress. I think your idea for watching this show together is a good one.
