I was alive for Thomson's HR but I don't think my parents were listening. The one I remember which also meets the criteria is Game Three of the 1962 playoffs between the Dodgers and the Giants. I was on the sidelines of a Pee Wee football game listening to Scully and Doggett broadcast it and that ninth inning still infuriates me. Leading 4-2 going into the top of the 9th and the Dodgers' relief pitchers Roebuck and Stan Williams suddenly can't throw strikes. Four walks, two hits, one error, a wild pitch and a sac fly and the Dodgers were down 6-4 and done for the year. Alston's hook was way too slow.
