Excellent observations by Oliver as recorded by his amanuensis.

That Oliver is a chip off the old blogger's block.

Well done, Oliver. Someone is clearly raising you right.

Kevin Wolf

Couldn't agree more with your points, Oliver.

It was a contrived movie plot that stole its ending from "Matrix: Revolutions" of all movies. Man of Steel wasn't all bad but it wasn't good.

I've given up on this movie. I was lukewarm on it after seeing it, but have come to dislike it more and more as time has passed. It misunderstands every character on every level and should be forgotten as soon as possible. Unfortunately, it'll serve as the launching pad for a whole series of lousy grim 'n' gritty movies.

It baffles me how every creator except the people in charge of Superman at both DC and Warners get and understand him.

Mark P

Thanks for the review. I appreciate all of yours, Lance, and now I appreciate Oliver's as well. They are really helpful when considering whether to see a new movie.
