El Jefe

I've heard it's the best adaptation so far; let us know what you think as usual. I like what I've seen of Mr. Pump on YouTube and Claire Foy as Spike ... does not displease me.

W. Ian Blanton

It was...pretty good in my opinion. I think I still find the "Hogfather" adaption to be the best Discworld TV/Movie thus far. Nothing against the actors, but they changed too much of the plot. I particular I was displeased that Igor wasn't in it, but there are a number of smaller and larger changes that just lessen my rating, which is still a healthy 4 stars, maybe even a little more.

How did you guys see it? Isn't Sky1 a UK channel?

I need enlightenment.

El Jefe

Link,

Rupert Murdoch, in the goodness of his heart (OK, I'm back now, upped my meds to finally stop laughing :), had Sky put it out on DVD and there's now a US-region copy up on not-Qwikster.

Linkmeister

Oh, I see. It's from 2010 and is out on DVD. Huh. When I see "trailer" I assume (wrongly) that it's for coming attractions.

Silly me.
