Great article. My main complaint about the movie is that for a film that relies so heavily on people using their brain, the ending was too mindless. Ultimately it was a shootout - i think it could have been done in a much more clever way. The first film was the same way where two robots were just mindlessly punching each other. Come on.

Also, i posted this post on TheReelist which is a site that aggregates all the interesting news from the web. It's here.

Clyde,

Thanks.

Yep. The final battle was a mess and a waste. And as much as I liked the first Iron Man, I agree with you about the ending of that one too. Plus, I know Obidiah Stain is Ironmonger in the comic books, but I thought they put the wrong villain inside the robot for the final battle. I don't think it would have made the fight itself more interesting or exciting, but it would have been more in keeping with the characters and the spirit of the movie if the terrorist leader had been inside and Stain had lived to torment Tony another day.

"Scarlett Johansson doesn’t add very much to a part that’s mainly just an opportunity for a stunt woman in a catsuit to show off."

True, but the Black Widow will be one of the Avengers.
