I've no use for Palin and hopes she never runs for anything again, ever, but if someone dangled millions of dollars before my eyes, with the caveat that in order to get it I had to leave my current job for something else that involved all of the parts of my current job that I love and none of the parts that I hate, I think I'd think about it for three minutes before I signed on the dotted line. Throw in a special needs child who I knew could be cared for all of his life as a result and I wouldn't need three minutes.

Me too. This article was the first thing I've ever read that made me feel any sympathy for Palin. Didn't make me like her. Just had me walking a little way in her mukluks.
