Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is out on DVD this week and it is not the featured presentation for tonight’s Mannion Family Movie Night.
Instead we’re continuing our Cary Grant film fest with Arsenic and Old Lace.
Probably we’ll get around to the Half-Blood Prince soon, although I can’t say I’m looking forward to it. Here’s my review written after we saw it on the big screen last summer, Harry Potter and the Narrative Ellipses.
Forgot to mention it at the time, but another movie I didn’t much care for when we saw it in the theater, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian recently came out on DVD too. (See my review.) That one we did watch for Family Movie Night. It was better on the small screen. Not a lot better, just enough.
Arsenic and Old Lace is my favorite Cary Grant movie. I haven't seen it in years, though.
