I’m getting a lot of traffic from an unlikely source.
The George W. Bush Presidential Library.
Unlikely for several reasons, the main one being that there is no such institution as of yet. But do me a favor. Follow the link.
I didn’t do it.
I don’t know who did do it.
I don’t care that whoever did do it did it, unless it’s going to get me into trouble.
Is it? Anybody know the rules on setting up fake web pages?
Lance -- did you try to check the site registration through whois.org? Anyway, I did and it seems that the domain name was registered to a guy in Michigan and hosting site is in Pennslyvania.

"Anybody know the rules on setting up fake web pages?"
You mean ICANN's rules on domain disputes and domain-squatting? You pretty much need to own a trademark.
But see here for more.

You could probably claim a breach of copyright, since it's publishing your work without your permission.

A very good posting, btw. I don't pass by your place very often so I missed that essay before and I'm glad I read it.

PurpleGirl, thanks, and thanks for looking that up for me. I'm kind of glad that whoever he is did it, because I'm fond of that post and like it that it's getting some attention. I just don't want to have to explain myself to anybody's lawyers.
