Did you hear "To All the Girls I've Loved Before" on the radio before you were inspired to write this?

Wait...Eddie Fisher was a stoner????

I think you're wrong.

Donald Hall didn't do it well, but it can be done well.

Luigi Barzini comes to mind. There have been others.

You're an observer and lover of people. Give your subconscious 20 years to work on something and you'll squeeze it dry of all meaning. The human element is never so stark and so entertaining as in affairs of the heart.

If you lost your self-consciousness about it - and if none of your family members formed part of your mental audience - you'd create beauty out of the raw material of your youthful romances. How else are great novels written except through us spying on things and people and events and in places that are uncomfortable to probe and difficult to put into readable words?

And there's nothing wrong with being a dirty old man. I wish more of them could get over how old they are and start focusing on how much this young woman wants to bang them.

Excuse me, sorry. Got carried away there. :)

Hurry up and read Twilight, so you can go and SEE Twilight. The female lead is a dead ringer for Mary-Louise Parker. (I'm sure if you wait until the holidays you'll find a bevy of nieces eager for their 2nd-40th viewings, should you need company.)

Carrie Fisher should probably knock about two jokes out of each paragraph. The script doctor needs her own MD for her MS.

Yes, actor212, Papa was a rolling stoner.

(I'm surprised Carrie missed that one... she tends to leave no stoner unturned when it comes to wordplay.)

Apostate has a point, Lance. You wonder how I have 350 female friends on Facebook? That's pretty much how.
