Welcome to those of you coming here from the New York Times and I've got no idea why you were directed to this post either. I do blog about politics, though, and my most recent post on the Presidential primaries is Who's tearing the Party apart? There are more, so please feel free to look around while you're here.

If you are visiting here for the first time, Lance Mannion is one of the best writers found anywhere and a pleasure to read. (I have been a writing teacher at the high school and college-freshman level for many years and have seen way too much bad writing for one lifetime.)
Reading Lance's analyses of movies and TV series is like taking a film class.
I have also found many gems and delightful cranks through Lance's extensive blog list.
He has also led me to places like the Mahablog, where rather than simply linking to daily items in the blog universe, a "best of" collection of bits and pieces from other places are skillfully edited and presented there by Barbara, a great service to those of us without the time to read the New York Times and Washington Post every day.
Cheers.
