In no case was the pardoned felon implicated in or associated with the uses and abuses of power at the highest levels of government.

This is nothing new for the Bushes. Do the names Caspar Weinberger, Elliott Abrams, Robert McFarlane, Duane Clarridge, Alan Fiers, and Clair George ring a bell?

And how does not being happy with Clinton's pardons require us to be happy with George W. Bush's, anyway? That whole argument, "He did it first!" should stay in kindergarten where it belongs.

SING IT FROM THE RAFTERS (and correct the post accordingly): Libby was Rich's lawyer from 1995 to 2000. It was HE and HIS WORK that got Rich that pardon.

How nice to see something like this. But I'll only be happy when we get rid of Bush and his ilk.

I don't regard pardoning Roger as being self-serving for Bill Clinton. If Roger was your brother and your wife was trying to get her political career started, would you let him out of safe-keeping?
