Biden's a babbler, always has been. He'll never use ten clear words when thirty confusing ones will do. And that's actually enough reason for him not to be president: his people would have to spend every day cleaning up the messes he'd made the day before.

But the Obama comments weren't racist or racially insensitive or anything similar. Say whatever nice things you like about Jesse Jackson; unlike Obama, he had no chance at the nomination. (And Shirley Chisholm or Al Sharpton? Please.) And Obama is an uncommonly attractive candidate, in exactly the ways Biden outlined.

So, translated from Biden into English, what he said was "Not only is he the first black guy with a real chance to win, he's the second coming of JFK."

Biden's running for President? Wow! He's been so tight-lipped about it, I'd never have guessed... {-;

Really though, we should be fair and cut him some slack. Maybe he just meant that he likes to hear Obama's oh so pleasant voice close to his ear whilst he breaths in of his manly essence.

Or something...

What a nutter.
