Hey Lance, you didn't miss much, essentially the Prez wants us to just give him time on Iraq.

Trust him.

Low key and relatively lttle applause (as far as these things go).

Purported love for bi-partisanship given the lie by his reference to the "Democrat" party (I know it's childish fo me, but it's also annoying).

I was also disapponted that he failed to address the "manimal" issue he raised in last year's SOTU.

Webb's speech was dynamite. Two big themes: economic disparity and foreign policy misjudgments (he called the Iraq invasion reckless). I hope you can see it. At Crooks and Liars, maybe?
