"...and because we'd been out of town over the weekend and she hadn't gotten to the grocery store..."

SHE hadn't gotten to the store??? Were your legs not working?

That's one of the golden rules at Blue Girl Marketing and Manipulation. It's even in our Mission Statement:

At Blue Girl Marketing and Manipulation, we aim to please approximately 4 1/2 days a week.

Pa Reader

Been away for a while and I return to this morning's post. A welcoming return, indeed, Mrs. Mannion's trenchant observation, and the tone she no doubt used making it. My Monday is now going well.

The other immutable rule of scheduling: Not after lunch on Fridays.

I used to work for a boss who insisted on a Monday-morning staff meeting, every week. The starting time?...You guessed it!

P.S. I don't work there anymore.
