I've always liked that passage. To paraphrase Patrick O'Brian, Douglas Adams knew what it was o'clock.
On a more somber note, this week should have been a reflective one for the most self-satisfied of us. Palm Sunday, April 9, was the anniversary of the execution of Dietrich Bonhoeffer in 1945. Bonhoeffer is the one who tells us, "When Christ calls a man, He bids him come and die."

Also nailed to a tree for saying empire would fall -- always dangerous.

Lance, I used pretty much your Good Friday post to kick off my Easter post. I gave you a tip of the hat, and hope you feel comfortable with the rest of the post. Thanks for a great blog.
