He picked it up this afternoon. It's for future reference. We're not having seafood tonight. Tonight's menu is burgers and smores. Last night Uncle Merlin made us a dinner of halibut, striped bass, and asparagus. We went out to ice cream for desert.
As you can tell, we're roughing it down here, living like our pioneer ancestors. I told the boys over chowder this afternoon: "All this sacrifice and deprivation builds character."
They pelted me with oyster crackers.
Hmmm, sounds like someone has been reading Calvin and Hobbes.

I'm glad we're having swordfish and stir-fried broccoli tonight. You just put me in the mood for seafood. Then again, I'm always in the mood for seafood.

Trish,
Swordfish sounds great. What time's dinner?
Silas,
The 12 year old taught himself how to read when he was 5 using our Calvin and Hobbes books.

Burgers and "s'mores?!?" I hope sequentially, not simultaneously!
