Santorum was on The Daily Show pitching his book. Surprised that Jon Stewart had him on the show, but he does like to bait the conservatives. Santorum's weak-assed argument was that govt should encourage the best solutions for families, and that's one man, one woman, married. Not that single mothers and gay couples couldn't successfully raise a child, but govt ought to support only the best solution that will enable society to grow.

So is this typical Repub BS or what? Govt should support successful and financially stable families, not the fractured and struggling families. Social darwinism in a way. So sad that Santorum won't be pitching his book's findings on a Presidential campaign.

After a day full of unpleasant computer problems, followed by computer kicking, I was so happy to see your post and trackback to my Santorum-Meets-Hell's-Angels fantasy. The addition of the middle finger to the fantasy was swell. Oooooh ... wouldn't that be a fine finish to Santorum's personal Focus on the Family?

You're quite right re: the PO-lice. The more the PO-lice crack down on the little things, the angrier and crabbier we all get. Let's hope that spreads to PA.

I think the raised middle finger was implicit in your image so I don't take any credit.

Sorry to hear about your bad day at the computer. I think days spent dealing with computer problems should not count towards the biblically allotted days of our lives. It should work the reverse of smoking. Every day spent cursing Microsoft should add a day to your life to compensate for the time wasted.

Sounds to me like the Republican Party we've all come to know and love.
