Thanks for that, Lance. How did you manage to find a photo of the Blonde that makes her look so...brunette?

P.S. I'm nearly blonde myself, these days. Whenever I clean the hair out of the drain, I'm astonished anew at the miracle of contemporary hair coloring.

I'm honored, Lance. Thank you!

Now that's very kind of you, sir. Mom and I both thank you.

Hey Lance! Thank you!

Little story! Today, I was taking my son and his friends to baseball practice. "Mother" by Pink Floyd came on -- Just think, I had 5 - 13 & 14 year old boys in the car, I held my breath for the lyric...."Mother will they try to break my balls" -- ok, so when they hear it -- they START ROLLING! I mean laughing so hard, hitting each other, etc. I was like Dan Aykroyd in "Coneheads." Remember that scene? Anyway. It was perfect.

Again, thanks for the well wishes!

I'm not a mother, but I have one.

I sent here a cute card, too!

Snoopy and that little bird sitting on a garden bench.

My mother Sally is a little butterball tigress for her cubs and loved ones. Of course, when she's being a pain-in-the-ass during stressful occasions we kids turn to each other and say: And how's The Mother today?

I suppose that having five kids in the span of eight years would make anyone a little grouchy. She was a good Army Wife, too, and handled all the moves (including dad's stint in Vietnam) with aplomb. God bless her and her funny little feet, too.

On the mother-in-law front, I've grabbed the brass ring. Virginia only offers advice when it's asked for and it's always excellent. One thing she said has become a touchstone for my marriage.

In her sweetest south-Georgia accent, she once told my husband: David, you knew she was unusual when you married her.

PS -- Lance, you really hit the jack pot! The Blonde and the boys are beautiful.

Nicely done. Best to the consort of the blonde today.

Thank you for your kind mother's day wishes Lance.
