A good reason for sending out paper Christmas cards is that when you wake up before dawn full of anxiety and dread, writing and addressing them gives you something cheering and hopeful to do.
I’ve mailed about forty Christmas and Hanukkah cards already. Plan is twenty-five more today. If this doesn’t save the US Postal Service, I don’t know what will.
