| Mannion v Batman v Superman. Fourth brief. Somedays »
At a key moment in Man of Steel Superman forgets he can fly. At a key moment in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice he forgets he’s faster than a speeding bullet.
It’s like Zack Snyder never saw any episodes of the old TV show.

In two movies, I don't think Snyder's Superman has ever used his powers in a particularly clever or surreptitious way either. He's might and force and brawn. This Superman would never, like, use his laser vision to toss Lois Lane a branch so he can maintain his secret identity. And it's not like they're trying to scale back a somewhat overpowered character either. It just seems like a lack of imagination.
