What’s wrong with conservatism is that it fits on a bumper sticker.
Saw one just a little while ago, in a working class neighborhood:
Silly Liberals. Checks Are For Workers.
There’s that conservative vanity again. They truly believe they are the only people who do any work around here.
I came up with a response.
Silly Conservatives. Checks Are Written By Bosses Who Don’t Like You, Don’t Like to Pay You, Don’t Think You’re Worth the Money They Pay You, And Who Are Always Looking For Ways to Pay You Less Unless They Find A Way To Pay You Nothing At All By Laying You Off At Which Point You’ll Be Damned Glad To Take Those Government Checks You Sneer At Liberals For Doling Out Except That If Conservatives Like You Have Their Way There Won’t Be Any More Of Those Checks.
Guess that’s a little wordy for a bumper sticker.
How about a billboard?
I keep telling people this. They keep disdaining me. They'll see....
