You’d think that the state of their own souls would be enough to worry about for these Christians, but it seems they won’t be happy knowing they’re going to heaven unless they know the rest of us are going there too, and they’re bound they’re going to drag us there with them, kicking and screaming.
I know a few of them would get more satisfaction out of watching us fall kicking and screaming the other direction, but most of the rest act as though they won’t enjoy basking in God’s glory unless we’re right there, basking along with them. It’s kind of nice of them, in a way.

Heh. You said "drag."

You get extra credit for the souls you drag along--"stars in your crown." (It's kinda like getting a discount from DirecTV for customer referrals.) cf. Eliza Hewitt, 1897:
I am thinking today of that beautiful land
I shall reach when the sun goeth down;
When through wonderful grace by my Savior I stand,
Will there be any stars in my crown?
Refrain:
Will there be any stars, any stars in my crown
When at evening the sun goeth down?
When I wake with the blest in the mansions of rest
Will there be any stars in my crown?
In the strength of the Lord let me labor and pray,
Let me watch as a winner of souls,
That bright stars may be mine in the glorious day,
When His praise like the sea billow rolls.
(Refrain)
O what joy it will be when His face I behold,
Living gems at his feet to lay down!
It would sweeten my bliss in the city of gold,
Should there be any stars in my crown.
(Refrain)

I have family members like this and they say things like, "I just want to see you in heaven." I ask them, "What if there is no heaven? What if there nothing?" They look at me with sad eyes.
Essentially, all Christians are supposed to be evangelical, because they are commanded by Jesus in Matthew 28:19:
Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
This is their mandate, so they think.
