Gorgeous morning here on the old front porch, if you don’t mind a bit of a chill in the air. Geese honking down by the river, breeze-driven brown leaves skittering on the sidewalk, mug of coffee steaming up on the rail, and pumpkin muffins baking inside. How’s it by you?

Sunny but pretty chilly; -20'C with a sharp wind. Still, it could be worse (and it will be). But it's nice behind the window, looking at the frost and the crisp shadows cast by a low sun.

Gray yesterday, which meant lukewarm water from the solar water heater this morning. I'm grouchy.

southern california here, down by the mexican border. high today was 85, low should be somewhere in the mid fifties (brrrrr).
i'm getting ready to head up to palm springs, pick up the l'il lady and head to ontario for a weekend gig at the convention center there.
i intend to spend most of the time barefoot (and bare what ever else the traffic will stand)
they expect rain for saturday. glad it's an indoor show.
