What I said below, again, but also this:
Dear freinds in the Media and the blogosphere,
On the other hand...are people from the party of Franklin Roosevelt, Bobby Kennedy, and John Edwards seriously making the case that because somebody has enjoyed a life of privilege she can't possibly have any real sympathy for or affinity with working people and the rural poor?
I thought elitism was an attitude not a birth defect or the irreversible effects of gamma rays beamed at you when you go up on stage to accept your diploma from Yale.
Seriously. There are criminals in the White House. Let it go.
Love,
Lance

Lance - hard to follow this one. Are you saying there are people who claim Clinton wasnt working on behalf of the poor when she was working on behalf of the poor? If so I would tell them to do their homework and be quiet as Church mice until they are done or NO cookies!

If she's a friend of the poor, why is she working for Sen. McCain?
Just asking.

Not to be antisocial, but if the Obama campaign can't deal with an election campaign wouldn't it be better to find this out /now/ instead of in the general election? If Obama flames out now, we end up with Hillary Clinton; if he flames out in the general we end up with John McCain.
If the Obama supporters would rather end up with John McCain, I don't think it's Ms. Clinton who's backing Mr. McCain here.

I'm not worried about Obama v. McCain, but I think Sen. Clinton might want to consider her future as an effective U.S. Senator when this is over.
"Clinton is viewed as 'honest and trustworthy' by just 39 percent of Americans, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll, compared with 52 percent in May 2006. Nearly six in 10 said in the new poll that she is not honest and trustworthy. And now, compared with Obama, Clinton has a deep trust deficit among Democrats, trailing him by 23 points as the more honest, an area on which she once led both Obama and John Edwards.
Among Democrats, 63 percent called her honest, down 18 points from 2006; among independents, her trust level has dropped 13 points, to 37 percent. Republicans held Clinton in low regard on this in the past (23 percent called her honest two years ago), but it is even lower now, at 16 percent. Majorities of men and women now say the phrase does not apply to Clinton; two years ago, narrow majorities of both did."

err - Lina, you do know I was being sarcastic, right? Your comment that she is working with Mccain was just a slur and a stupid one at that. But I dont know you - maybe you mean well and dont mean to come off like a snot who doesnt she is talking about. So I will wish you luck with whatever happens - cause if you dont have a LOT of money in the bank the next years life just may suck for you and you'll wonder where all that hope and snottiness left you. Me, I'm covered. I know how this stuff works.
Bye bye aand enjoy!
