The Maverick and Commander has come down hard on both Clinton's and Obama's health care plans.

Said St John:

"They both have plans that will actually cover people!  Why, it's almost as if they expect people will get sick.  What kind of faith in Americans does that show?  My plan is better because it won't cost any of my friends a dime and has the advantage of allowing the healthy and the already well-covered to lecture the poor and the sick who make the moral mistake of needing expensive medical care on how they need to show more spunk and spirit, thus improving the characters of both groups.  The well-off and healthy are improved by helping the poor and sick to improve their characters and the poor and sick improve their characters by learning how to be polite and not bother other people with their problems."

Or something very Republican like that.

hot damn a maverick and commander post, just what i wanted for April 28th.

but anyway, the defeat of the lily ledbetter bill has drawn relatively little buzz. this seems like the perfect issue for a democratic nominee to skewer abe simpson on. hell it would be great for a tv commercial that would make the repubs squeal, but instead we have more forking polls about Indiana and Jeremiah wright. ya ...cough cough...who
