Twelve years ago today I had to take the car into the shop where I was told there was an electrical problem and...
Mike the service rep at Romano, recommending that I take the Sentra to the Nissan dealership: “Guys here hear the word ‘wiring’ and they all run and hide.”

And after they replaced the alternator, I had the same problem again. I can't count how many times it happened.
Finally one day I said to the guy at the nearest place I broke down this time, "Look, every time this happens, I say I'm sure it's the fuel system, and every time they tell me it can't be. But it is. I know it is. Please look for something in the fuel system." And he says he will but it will take a while. I say fine, I have a good book. And eventually he comes back and tells me it was the fuel filter. A five dollar part. I don't mind paying him for his time. It was nice never having a breakdown in the rain again.
