Koufax Award Winners have been announced and unlike last year, when all of my choices got skunked, this time around I managed to vote for two of the winners!
Shakespeare's Sister won Best Group Blog!
PZ Myers won Best Expert Blog!
Congratulations, Sis, PZ! Free drinks for a year here at the ol' Mannion Bar and Grille!
Also, Susie Madrak came in second for Best Writing. Some blogger named after a character from Beau Geste won. Forget him. Way to go, Susie!
Roxanne was first runner-up for Most Humorous Post!
Michael Berube's posts on his son Jamie came in second for Best Series!
And Dr. B came in just behind PZ for Best Expert Blog!
Runners up get free drinks for a year too, just because I like them.
Other people won other awards. But they have their own friends and family to show them the love.

Uh, Susie -- you won "Most Deserving of Wider Recognition" in 2004! Share the love. Besides, you don't need no stinkin' awards to validate your greatness.
I, too, voted for Shakes, and was glad she/they won. What bummed me out most was seeing Chris Clarke lose in the best post category. Really wanted that one to win, and thought it had a good chance.
However, there is already a pretty strong contender in that category for next year.
