Threesomes

Soon, I promise, I will get around to a post devoted to all the swell people who've linked to us here at Mannion & Mannion Estate Sales and Auctions.  (Honest, Liz, I swear.)  But this morning I found a new one that's got me all tingle.

Phil, at Here Be Monsters, has put me on his blog roll, where I appear right between Lindsay Beyerstein and Nancy Nall!   I'm sorry.  I can't help it.  I love this.  It seems so...so...FRENCH!

On the other hand, I'm listed on Lindsay's blog roll between John Emerson of Idiocentrism and Daryl Sng, which seems positively Fellini-esque and fills my head with visions of Amarcord and Satyricon, weirding me out so much I can't enjoy my spot on Phil's blog roll.

Anyway, those are all good blogs and you should visit them.  Meanwhile, I have to go call my therapist.

Update:  Caught up in my own fantasies, I failed to notice that on Phil's blog roll Nance sits between me and those two young studs at Pandangon, a scenario that would surely end with me sent to the bar to buy another round of drinks only to return to the table to find it empty and that the three of them have sneaked out of the restaurant, jumped into a cab together, and sped off, a situation that doesn't seem so much FRENCH to me as it seems like a scene out of a French sex comedy.

Which reminds me of something wise Matt Groening once said.

The French are funny.  Sex is funny.  Comedies are funny.  But no French Sex Comedies are funny.

Ooh la la.

Thanks for the shout-out! Glad I could contribute to your Fellini-esque blogroll position. I'll bring the peacocks.

Oh no! The peacocks! I forgot about the peacocks!

I'm not going to sleep tonight.
